Terms of Use

Not medical or mental health care. This app is a self-guided support tool. It is not therapy, medical treatment, or a substitute for professional care, and it is not equipped to handle a crisis. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, contact emergency services or a crisis line immediately — in the US, call or text 988.

Age requirement

You must be at least 17 years old to use this app.

Your data

The app has no accounts. Your data lives on your device and, optionally, your own private iCloud. You are responsible for keeping your device secure, since anyone with access to it can read what you've written in the app.

Subscriptions and free trial

Some features require a paid plan purchased through the App Store. The monthly plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers; if you don't cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid monthly subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings at any time.

Lifetime purchase

The lifetime plan is a one-time, non-renewing purchase that unlocks full access to this app on your Apple Account indefinitely.

Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Acceptable use

Use the app for its intended purpose. Don't attempt to reverse engineer it, resell access to it, or use it in a way that could harm another person.

No guaranteed outcome

We work to keep the app accurate and working as described, but we can't promise any particular result, including how quickly or fully you recover from a breakup — that depends on many things outside the app. This doesn't affect your statutory rights if the app is faulty or doesn't work as described.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where the law doesn't allow it — in particular for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, for fraud, or under mandatory product liability law. Beyond that, and only as far as the law that applies to you allows, we're not liable for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable, or for indirect or consequential losses.

Your rights as a consumer

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer. If you live in a country whose consumer protection laws can't be set aside by contract — for example in the EU or the UK — those laws always apply to you, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app changes. Small changes that don't disadvantage you, such as clarifications or new features, take effect when we update this page. If we ever want to make a change that could disadvantage you, we'll tell you clearly in the app beforehand, and it will only apply once you've accepted it — simply continuing to use the app doesn't count as acceptance. If you don't accept, you can stop using the app and cancel your subscription at any time, and the terms you agreed to keep applying to anything you've already paid for.
