The short version

We don't collect your data. Everything you enter — your relationship history, journal entries, coach messages, unsent messages, and relapse log — stays on your device. If you use iCloud, it syncs only to your own private iCloud account, which we cannot see or access. There are no servers that store your personal content, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and no third party that receives your data.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. The app doesn't require an account, an email address, or a login. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment details. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them only to reply to you.

iCloud sync

If you're signed into iCloud, your data may sync across your own devices using Apple's CloudKit, in your own private database. We do not have access to this data.

Notifications

If you turn on notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device. No notification content passes through a remote server.

The coach

In the current version, coach responses are generated on your device and are never transmitted anywhere. If a future version adds a cloud-based coach, this policy will be updated before that version ships, describing exactly what is sent and to whom.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes all data stored on your device. If you used iCloud sync, you can also remove it in Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage.

Children

This app is not directed at children and is intended for users aged 17 and older, given its subject matter.

Changes to this policy

If what the app collects ever changes, we'll update this policy and tell you in the app before the new version collects anything. Where the law requires your consent, we'll ask for it first — continuing to use the app never counts as consent.
