Terms of Use
Last updated: August 12, 2026
These terms apply to the Grosik iOS app ("the app"). By using the app you agree to them. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
What Grosik is
Grosik is a personal budgeting tool. You enter your own numbers; the app organizes and displays them. Grosik does not connect to banks, does not verify your entries, and does not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Decisions you make based on the app's numbers are your own.
Grosik Premium subscription
- Premium is an optional auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) purchased through your Apple account. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.
- The yearly plan may include a free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Apple account settings (App Store → your profile → Subscriptions). Cancelling stops the next renewal; the current period stays active.
- Payments and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
- The free tier's core features — logging transactions in the current month — are not paywalled and do not expire. Your past data is never deleted, and a free JSON export of everything you have entered is always available; viewing past months inside the app is a Premium feature.
Your data
Your data lives only on your device (see the Privacy Policy). You are responsible for backups: use Settings → "Export my data", and keep your device backed up with iCloud or your computer. If you delete the app or lose your device before Grosik ships cloud sync, we cannot recover your data — it was never on our servers.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or tamper with the app or its purchase verification, and don't use it in violation of applicable law.
Warranty and liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app; total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law grants you in your country of residence.
Changes
These terms may be updated as the app evolves; the current version always lives at this address. Continued use after an update means acceptance.
